Renovations and conversions

Walchwil has many buildings dating from the 1960s and 1970s. These need to be renovated either for energy efficiency reasons or because future generations will have different needs. We advise you and show you the various options available. We then plan and implement the project, whether it involves conversions, extensions, additions, or renovations.

Agricultural buildings

We are familiar with the requirements of agricultural businesses. This enables us to support our farming clients not only in the renovation of numerous, sometimes historic residential buildings, but also to include farm buildings in the planning and implementation.

Preservation

There are numerous protected historic buildings in Walchwil and the surrounding area. We find pragmatic solutions that take into account feasibility, economic efficiency, and respect for our townscape in equal measure.

Cost estimates

Based on the implementation planning, we prepare cost estimates for each individual type of work in our projects. Selected companies are invited to submit bids. This gives us a transparent cost comparison. In consultation with the client, the work is then awarded and the work contracts are drawn up.

Potential and feasibility analyses

We evaluate the possibilities and opportunities offered by properties for interested parties with purchase or construction intentions, as well as for owners with changing needs in the use of their property.

Local project and construction management

For larger projects in the private and public sectors that are planned by external architectural firms, we carry out local construction management and implementation. Most recently, we did this on a larger scale for the construction of the new community center and parish hall, a demanding project lasting several years, in cooperation with SBB, whose railway line runs along the mountain side of the construction project.
