Kita Wasen – Small Groups & Personal Care

Kita Wasen is a private, politically and religiously independent childcare center in the Emmental. With a maximum of 15 children cared for at the same time, we create an environment where each child is seen and supported individually.

Our team consists of qualified childcare professionals, trainees, and interns who together create a warm and stable care environment.
We work closely with parents to ensure transparent, loving, and professional childcare.

A Structured and Lovingly Designed Day at the Kita

A clear rhythm gives children orientation and a sense of well-being. At Kita Wasen, we shape the day with fixed rituals, varied activities, and enough time for free play.

Typical daily routine at Kita Wasen:

• 06:30 – 08:30 Arrival, free play

• from 07:00 Breakfast for children who haven’t eaten at home

• 09:00 Morning circle & shared start

• Morning Nature time, creative activities, movement

• 11:30 Balanced lunch

• 12:15 – 14:00 Nap and quiet time

• 14:30 Afternoon snack

• Afternoon Garden time, projects, free play

• until 18:00 Pick-up time

This creates a lively yet reliable daily rhythm.

Secure a Daycare Spot in the Emmental

Kita Wasen accepts children from 3 months up to the basic school level.
The minimum attendance is two half-days per week.
