The Wolfer Winery is located on Ottenberg, nestled in the vineyards of Bründlerberg.
The unobstructed view over the Thur Valley and the foothills of the Alps to the Säntis is impressive in every season. Martin Wolfer reflects pensively: "I have always loved this place: the sun with its play of colors, the wild vines and the mysterious wine cellar. A little paradise that I take care of."
The total cultivation area is 9.4 hectares. Two-thirds of this is located in Bründlerberg and one-third in Waidli and Bachtobel on the western Ottenberg.

Pinot Noir grapes grow on around 60% of the vineyard area, followed by Müller-Thurgau, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay.

Martin Wolfer and his team have been managing the winery since 2012.
With initiative, care, and perseverance, he has succeeded in further developing the quality of the wines. According to the wine guide published by Vinum magazine and the Gault&Millau restaurant guide, the Wolfer winery is one of the 150 best Swiss wineries and is a member of the renowned Mémoire des Vins Suisses association.
