Mother-Child Housing Wiedlisbach – Elim Foundation for Parents and Children

Elim Mother and Child Housing in Wiedlisbach offers mothers, pregnant women, and parents in need, together with their children, professional social-educational support and a safe temporary home in the heart of the canton of Bern. The aim of the service is to strengthen families, promote independence, and sustainably strengthen the bond between parents and children in a stable, supportive environment.

What we offer

Assisted living with social support
At the mother-child residence in Wiedlisbach, parents live with their children in comfortably furnished apartments with a kitchen and bathroom. Through structured weekly planning, in-house childcare, and individual support from our interdisciplinary team of experts, everyday life, parenting, and personal perspectives are strengthened together.

Social pedagogical family support (SPF)
As part of our outpatient family support, we help parents to cope with challenging life situations, activate family resources, and develop long-term sustainable solutions. Our specialists work systemically and focus on the well-being of all those involved.
