Restaurant Hirschen

In 1992, we took over the farm in Buch from our parents. A farmhouse restaurant had been operating next to the farm since 1932. We had bigger plans and converted the former barn into an attractive space for events. We are now able to cater for groups of 20 to 45 people.

 

At the Hirschen, we want all our guests to feel at home right away. We often serve walkers and hikers from the region between Winterthur and Frauenfeld. Picturesque hiking trails lead to us from Wiesendangen, Elsau, and Elgg. Treat yourself to some refreshments with our cold platters, homemade farmhouse bread, or a farmer's sausage. Craftsmen and construction workers from the surrounding area enjoy their morning snack with us. For larger events, additional service staff and a chef for hot meals are hired.

The Vogt couple run the family business with a lot of love, dedicating themselves heart and soul to it alongside their farm.
