We work together with professionals from various fields of child and youth welfare, thereby relieving the burden on foster families. This allows them to devote themselves fully to their everyday family life and to living together with the children and young people entrusted to their care.

  Bussola crisis intervention is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for those affected and involved.

Bussola provides children, adolescents, and young adults who are unable to live in their usual environment for the short, medium, or long term with a place to stay (a home) in a host or foster family. The aim is to stabilize the situation and enable optimal planning for the future.

Crisis intervention for children and young people

By crisis intervention, we mean various forms of professionally supervised stays with host or foster families. We distinguish between the terms "host family" for short-term measures, such as emergencies, time-outs, or a temporary solution until a permanent solution is found, and "foster family" for medium to long-term stays. For reasons of better readability, we generally use the term "foster family" on our website.
