Alters- und Pflegeheim, 'Altershaamet'

The Altershaamet Wilchingen retirement and nursing home offers elderly people a range of accommodation options that guarantee a good quality of life in old age, tailored to their individual circumstances.

Retirement and nursing home places

Since 1994, Altershaamet Wilchingen has offered 26 retirement and nursing home places in four double rooms and 18 single rooms. All rooms have a toilet and shower, as well as a south-west facing balcony. If residents require increasing levels of care, there is no need to move to a nursing ward, as full care can be provided in all rooms.

Assisted living group Hofackergarten

Since June 1, 2010, Altershaamet has offered 12 places in the "Hofackergarten" residential group for the care of people with dementia. The residential group is a separate unit. As a new building, it is connected to the retirement home, but the residents live there as their own "family." There are 12 single rooms (all with WC and shower), a large living room and kitchen, and a special garden for free walks in nature.

Vacation places or rehabilitation

In both of the above-mentioned areas, we also offer vacation places to relieve the burden on caring relatives or for rehabilitation after a hospital stay.

Retirement apartments

Since June 1, 2010, the "Altershaamet Wilchingen" foundation has also been renting retirement apartments (2.5 and 3.5 rooms) in a prime residential location in Wilchingen. The newly built apartments meet the latest standards for age-appropriate living. Completely independent living is possible. The structural design of the retirement apartments also allows residents to make use of the services of the retirement and nursing home (meals, cleaning, and laundry) at any time and according to their personal needs. The installed emergency call system guarantees safety and enables 24-hour care.
