A sewer TV inspection films the inside of sewage pipes and quickly shows whether there is any damage to the pipe, such as narrowing due to deposits or root ingrowth.

Such a sewer inspection can be used to determine pipe routes or for subsequent sewer cleaning or renovation. It can also be used to carry out a final inspection after inliner pipe renovation, high-pressure sewer cleaning, or electromechanical pipe cleaning.

Sewer inspection with remote-controlled cameras, also known as sewer inspection or sewer TV, is a type of inspection in which a small, remote-controlled camera is inserted into the sewer system to check the condition of the sewers and pipes from the inside. The camera is attached to a flexible, hose-like guide tube that is fed through the sewers. The camera transmits live images to a monitor so that the technician performing the inspection can view the sewers and pipes from the inside and check for damage, blockages, or other problems.
