Tree care

We have undergone further training to deepen our knowledge of tree life and its environment.

What is tree care? It means planting young trees correctly in the optimal location for them. Pruning at the right time, corrective pruning, topiary pruning, and watching out for pests. This is how a young tree grows into a tree and then into an old tree. Corrective pruning and thinning of the crown will be necessary from time to time. Dead wood must be removed, and anchors provide better stability. Rotten spots must be identified and treated, and safety must be ensured.

Invasive plants

These are non-native plants that were introduced to our region in the 15th century. They behave invasively and have few natural enemies. They reproduce rapidly and are therefore difficult to control.

They can cause the following problems:

 

• Displacement of native animal and plant species.
• Competition with natural plants in agriculture and forestry.
• Adverse effects on farm animals.
• Impairment of flood protection.
• Damage to roads and buildings.

Thanks to our precise inventory and analysis, we can advise you on how and where we can professionally counteract these plants. We advise you on replacement planting and carry out this work in accordance with cantonal guidelines.
