Galli AG

March 1939 Founding of the Fritz Galli company:
Fritz Galli, born in 1911, purchased the building on Thunstrasse and ran a bicycle shop and mechanical workshop.

Early 1940s

Fritz Galli Sr. opened a transport business, primarily for the transport of long timber.

Mid-1940s

In addition to bicycles, Galli Sr. also sold and repaired Bucher motor mowers.

1954–1968

The Galli company became the representative for DKW/Audi.

1966

Generational change: Fritz Galli [1911] sold the property to his son Fritz Galli.

From 1966

The Galli company takes over representation of Ford.

From 1978

The Galli company becomes a "Ford A dealer."

1982

No additional space could be created in the garage on Thunstrasse. For this reason, the new building at Reutenenstrasse 2 was constructed.

1989

New construction of the gas station and car wash at Reutenenstrasse 2.
(At the time, the gas station was the most environmentally friendly gas station with gas recovery in the Emmental region).

1990

Foundation of the public limited company "Galli AG."

1991

Son Peter Galli takes over management from his father Fritz Galli.

1999

Renovation of the car wash with modern brushes for gentle washing, osmosis water (lime-free), and high pressure.

2006

From March 1, 2006, Galli becomes an official Ford and Suzuki dealer.

2013

Renovation of the entire car wash. Now with a polishing program.
