TANK & BURNER

Maintenance and servicing of tank systems

From January 1, 2007, new water protection regulations apply to tank systems. Even though the water protection authorities no longer require all tank systems to be inspected, the owner is fully responsible for ensuring that the tank system is in a safe operating condition.

It is therefore advisable to have the tank system cleaned by trained specialists every 10 years. Minor repairs can be carried out at low cost at the same time.

Advantages of a tank inspection with internal cleaning

• Fewer malfunctions of the oil burner due to clogged or sludged burner lines or burner nozzles
• Less internal/external corrosion and thus a longer service life of the tank can be guaranteed by adding a protective coating.
• Costly consequential damage can be avoided by early detection of defects.
• Fewer pollutants are released into the environment with a maintained and intact system
