• 1882: Founded as a shoe store and mail order business
• Since 1910: located on Oberdorfstrasse
• 1939: Mail order business discontinued due to rationing of shoe purchase rights
• 1945: since this year, the business has been run as a "service store" by the third generation.
• 1960: Expansion of the hiking/mountain boot range
• Since 1970: In addition to a large selection of comfortable shoes for women and men, we carry one of the largest selections of Mephisto shoes in Switzerland
