DrechselWerk

DrechselWerk is a small woodturning workshop with a shop in Zurich and a workshop in Urdorf (ZH),which carries out specific woodturning work for carpenters, architects, interior designers, etc., as well as repair and contract work for individual customers, such as replacing balusters for stair railings or manufacturing bowls, stools, or side tables according to the customer's specifications. DrechselWerk also produces small series.

DrechselWerk stands for 100% Swissness, as it exclusively uses local regional wood species. The unique character of each piece of wood is expressed in the finished object. This results in unique pieces that also tell a piece of tree history: wooden objects with character.

In the DrechselWerk workshop store, you will find thick- and thin-walled bowls, plates, everyday objects, home accessories, and small furniture in traditional and modern designs.

The special candle/flower bowls, in which wood meets gold, are particularly unique. They can be filled with water and their outer surfaces are refined using various techniques.

The workshop shop also offers a selection of patented Swiss stone pine millet pillows in various sizes, filled with fragrant Swiss stone pine shavings and organic millet husks.
