The company was founded in 1969 by Walter Grüebler and converted into Walter Grüebler AG in 1974.

In 2008, Peter Grüebler, who had been working for the company since 1980, took over the AG.

For 40 years, we have been laying floor coverings for public buildings such as hotels, restaurants, schools, offices, industrial buildings, and private buildings such as single-family homes and apartments with expertise, competence, and experience.

Carpets

Linoleum-cork

Linoleum consists of 100% natural and renewable raw materials, including linseed oil (flax), cork, wood flour, resin, and jute.

The colors are also of mineral origin.

Linoleum is durable, hard-wearing, easy to care for, hygienic, antibacterial, antistatic, flame-retardant, biodegradable, and has an aesthetic, stylish, simple, and pleasant appearance.

Cork is pure nature, a natural raw material from the bark of the cork oak tree in Portugal and Spain.

Rubber

Rubber coverings are made from high-quality industrial and natural rubber.

Natural rubber is extracted from the sap of the tropical rubber tree and pressed into rubber bales. It consists of renewable natural raw materials and is free of PVC plasticizers, halogens (chlorine), formaldehyde, asbestos, cadmium, and CFCs.

Industrial rubber is obtained by polymerizing certain petroleum refinery products.
High-quality minerals from natural deposits are also added.

Rubber is practical, non-slip, environmentally friendly, and easy to maintain, making it particularly suitable

for public buildings, airports, restaurants, stairwells, factories, and hospitals.

Plastic floors

Plastic floors such as PVC and CV coverings, e.g., Novilon

are made of various plastics.

They are elastic, offer a high level of walking comfort and good impact sound values, are hard-wearing, durable, insensitive, resistant to grease, etc., abrasion-resistant, moisture-resistant, hygienic, allergy-inhibiting, mostly recyclable, and inexpensive.

They are mainly suitable for wet rooms, public areas, and heavily used rooms such as warehouses, laboratories, and industrial halls.

Laminate
