Who we are.

Our painting business was founded in 1952 by Fritz Bachmann. With tireless enthusiasm, he built up the company and always lent a hand himself. His zest for life was infectious. Painting was his passion. Soon, Maler Bachmann was one of the most successful painting businesses in the city of Zurich, and Fritz Bachmann was a welcome business partner.

He was a role model to his employees and a reliable partner to his customers. They knew they were in good, competent hands, because quality and adherence to deadlines were a matter of honor for Fritz Bachmann. His daughter Evelyne was Fritz's right-hand woman until Fritz passed away in 2007. Since then, Evelyne has continued to run Maler Bachmann with its long-standing employees. After completing his painting apprenticeship and studying art, Evelyne's son Aurel has also been working in the family business since 2016 and can draw on his in-depth knowledge of special painting techniques. Aurel is now also increasingly involved in the business affairs of Maler Bachmann.
