In sexual counseling/therapy, I encourage you, desirable woman, to take a closer look at this area and understand the connections to your sex life. The vagina plays a central role in this journey. It lies deeply hidden within us and is truly a magical part of the body.

For very few women is the vagina a place of sexual desire and innate feminine power. Most women who seek my advice have explored their vagina little or not at all. There is a reason for this lack of interest or desire for self-exploration. It is based on their own life experiences and influences their entire self-perception. For some, it is a space associated with fear, suffering, and physical pain. This may be due to traumatic experiences, chronic complaints and illnesses, lack of libido, pain during intercourse, or even vaginismus.

 

Knowing your own gender is essential for a healthy, autonomous, and pleasurable sex life. In my work as a clinical sexologist in Zurich, I meet healthy women who want to consciously address their own sexuality and the limitations associated with it.

 

In my sex therapy practice in Zurich, I also work with men and couples, but with my vagina and me, I wanted to emphasize the valuable role of the vagina in our pleasurable sexuality.
