Josef Marty, owner of the Geisseler & Marty printing company, has been running the printing company in Alt-Wiedikon in the city of Zurich for 15 years. He is a trained typographer and polygraph and has extensive experience in prepress and costing.

We are your specialist partner and offer a wide range of prepress services, offset printing, letterpress printing, blind embossing, hot foil stamping, as well as die cutting, creasing, and perforating.

We are an experienced printing company and offer you impeccable service. We take care of prepress work, offset printing, and letterpress printing. Since the entire production process takes place in-house, we are flexible and can act quickly when orders come in.

Our production services

Pre-press: Here, the print data is checked for print readiness and transferred to the printing plates in A3+ and A2+ formats using Harlequin RIP.

Offset printing: We print on Heidelberg quality printing machines, which dominate the offset printing market worldwide. The 2-color Speedmaster prints in 35 x 50 cm format. The 2-color MO prints in
48 x 65 cm format.

Letterpress printing: Bulky print products, such as block-bottom envelopes, can be printed using the tried-and-tested hand press (top left) in a letterpress printing process. We still use letterpress printing in general.

In our print shop, we work with the famous original Heidelberg cylinder universal machine, which we use for die cutting packaging, creasing, and perforating.

 

Finishing

The finishing department takes care of format cutting, folding, collating, block production, stapling, punching, corner rounding, banding, packaging, etc.

Our services in detail

• Die cutting: folders and binders
• Creasing: Thick paper (160 gsm and above) is creased to ensure a clean fold.
• Perforating: Payment slips, numbering for invoices or ticket blocks
