Once born out of necessity – today a successful company

 

The Zurich Carpenters' Cooperative (ZGZ) is a company with over a century of history.

We value ecological construction. The ZGZ handles everything from small orders to large projects in the carpentry trade and timber construction. Multi-story new buildings as well as centuries-old buildings in the city center are part of the carpentry company's field of activity. The joinery handles all kinds of work, from building developments to customer carpentry orders. The ZGZ currently employs around 30 people.

We value ecological construction. The ZGZ handles everything from small jobs to large projects in the carpentry and timber construction trades. Multi-story new buildings as well as centuries-old buildings in the city center are part of the carpentry company's field of activity. The joinery handles all kinds of work, from building developments to customer carpentry orders. The ZGZ currently employs around 30 people.

Carpentry

From six-story residential buildings to repairing playground swings, we can handle anything. We have a high level of expertise in renovating old buildings and converting attics, including insulation and vapor barriers. We also offer staircases and skylights.

Outdoors, we erect wooden facades and wooden grates on balconies and terraces. The carpentry department also has a team that carries out customer work.

 

Carpentry

In our joinery, we combine craftsmanship with creative energy. With our own customer joiner, we can respond flexibly and quickly to small repairs. We produce built-in cupboards, furniture, reception units, and special shelving according to your wishes. We very often manufacture house, apartment, and room doors.  Doors should not only look good, they should also provide effective protection against burglary, fire, and noise.
