SpitexCare offers home nursing and personal care, treatment nursing such as medication management and wound care, psychiatric and palliative care, dementia support, needs assessment and advice, as well as household help including cleaning, shopping, meal preparation and assistance with laundry.

According to Comparis and SpitexCare, the medical home nursing services are recognized by basic health insurance, provided that a physician issues a prescription for Spitex services; clients usually pay the statutory co-payments, franchise and patient contribution, while housekeeping assistance is at the client’s expense.

SpitexCare provides private Spitex services with a focus on the canton of Zurich from its office at Seebacherstrasse 4, 8052 Zurich, and also operates in other cantons such as Lucerne, Solothurn, Schwyz and Aargau.

SpitexCare states that it is available by telephone around the clock, Monday to Sunday including public holidays, while the office at Seebacherstrasse 4 in Zurich has office opening hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 18:00.
