Fritz J. Dold is a recognized Swiss artist and third-generation stained glass master whose Zurich atelier (Birmensdorferstrasse) combines tradition with contemporary innovation. His body of work encompasses classic stained glass, the restoration of historically significant windows (including works by Marc Chagall and Augusto Giacometti in the Fraumünster and Grossmünster), as well as modern glass art, 3D glass sculptures, and photography. Dold realizes monumental abstract compositions within architectural contexts and has received international awards for his work, including recognition in Chartres and from the Corning Museum of Glass.
