The family-run Gasthof Bären offers fine, upscale Swiss cuisine, beautiful, cozy locations, well-equipped rooms and a small but nice private spa. A cozy and rustic treehouse is available for explorers to stay overnight. hotel The seven newly renovated rooms with shower/toilet and one room with sink and shared shower/toilet invite you to linger. All rooms are equipped with free WiFi and radio/TV. tree house A special sleeping experience “almost” in the open air is offered by staying in the dream tree house. restaurant The pretty Gasthof Bären in Ranflüh offers something for everyone. Treat yourself to fine, upscale Swiss cuisine in the charming historic building typical of the Emmental and, in the warmer months, relax on the terrace with panoramic views of the green hills. Culinary In the cozy restaurant, dishes from the past such as Grosis Roast, Tongue, Gnagi and a tender beef entrecôte or a delicious burger with beef are served. Of course, the legendary breaded pork schnitzel or cream schnitzel should not be missing. Additional specialties such as the Tatar hat in the beautiful vaulted cellar or on the idyllic terrace take place on advertised dates.

Wir besuchten das Restaurant an einem Dienstag Abend. Es waren nur vier weitere Gäste anwesend. Sehr einladende Lokalitäten, feines Essen auch optisch vorzüglich serviert. Das Menü-Angebot ist etwas knapp. Wer nicht Cordon Bleu Fan ist kommt in der Auswahl ganz klar zu kurz. Schade! Im Allgemeinen aber sehr zu empfehlen.
