Almost forty years later the founder’s son took over the business. Hans Staub then started selling furniture as well. The next generation took over in 1969, when Max Staub expanded the business. In 1971 he and his wife, Elisabeth, opened the furniture shop in Gstaad. In the meantime, the company had grown to such a size that it moved in 1989 to new and bigger carpentry premises in Feutersoey. The old sawmill was converted into a workshop. A year later the carpentry business expanded its range to include kitchens. The acquisition of the first CNC machining centre in 1999 marked a key technological advance. It permits the highly-efficient manufacture of furniture and construction elements as well as solid wood processing. Once again, it was time for a further expansion. In 2007 an extension was added to the carpentry workshop. Then in 2011 the fourth generation took over the company. During all these years and successive generations our passion for wood as a material and our craftsmanship have remained unchanged – work which, despite all the technological developments, still places the skills of an individual person at the centre of the process.Request quoteQuoteRequest quoteOther contact optionsOther contact optionsOther contact optionsStaub AGGsteigstrasse 175, 3784 FeutersoeyKitchen construction and kitchen exhibitions•Carpenter•Interior improvements•Kitchen equipment•Furniture workshop•RenovationsF our generations of carpentry Our company dates back to 1904 when Johann Staub started a small carpenter’s workshop in Rougement, before moving to Saanen in the following year.
