At the age of fourteen and a half, he began working alongside his father, creating his first wine, “La Feuillette.” This was the beginning of a passion that would shape his entire life. Jean-Michel refined his expertise by working in several prestigious estates around the world, notably in France, Italy, and the United States. Among the estates that benefited from his expertise are Château Pape Clément, La Tour Carnet, and Robert Mondavi’s estate in California.
