ECAP has been active in French-speaking Switzerland since 2007. The first regional office was opened in Lausanne in 2009 thanks to the implementation of a project in cooperation with the UNIA Vaud Trade union. As a result of the development of our activities, a second seat was inaugurated in Vevey in 2010 and we have further developed our field of activity and our educational programme. ECAP Vaud currently offers courses in Lausanne, La Chaux-de-Fond, Le Sentier, Neuchâtel, Nyon, Vevey and Yverdon-les-Bains. ECAP Vaud is an active member of the Coordination romande pour la formation de base des adultes (CRFBA) and the Vaud platform of French courses as a foreign language. ECAP Vaud has also signed a cooperation agreement with UNIA Vaud. ECAP Vaud is involved in several European adult education projects. ECAP Vaud has a small team of 40 teachers, working with enthusiasm and professionalism in an informal working environment. We give great importance to the exchange of views and mutual respect. ECAP Vaud offers a large variety of language courses and professional development courses. Our programme is very wide and allows you to choose the right course according to your level or profession: • Intensive French A1- B1 courses • Midweek courses A1- B2 courses • French writing and conversation courses • Professional French courses in the cleaning, construction and landscaping industry • Galateo, professional French course in the hotel and catering sector • Progredir, advanced training courses for migrant women employed in the cleaning sector as well as in hotels or restaurants (a joint project in cooperation with Unia) • TREM, job application courses for migrants • Computer courses The courses are open to everybody.
