Riesen Building Technology AG took over all 3 employees. Son Andres successfully completed his first apprenticeship as a roofer at LWB in Bern in 2006. After his apprenticeship in 2007 as a plumbing installer at Chapuis & Zürcher AG in Bern, he deepened his professional knowledge for another year. In 2010, Andres successfully obtained his 3rd Federal professional title as a heating specialist in building technology planning at Haustechnikplanung Abbühl in Spiez. To gain further professional experience, he also worked at Böhlen AG in Bern. In 2010, Andres joined the company at 40%. Since 2012, he has been acting as managing director. He is supported by his dedicated, long-standing plumbing and heating installers as well as a trained roofer. The foundation of Rösti Bedachungen AG was laid as early as the late 18th century when Johann Rösti produced the first shingles and re-roofed numerous houses and barns as a one-man operation. After nearly 40 years of active business, Hanspeter and Annekäthi Rösti had the pleasure of passing their company to the local qualified roofer André Brunner and his wife Susanne in the summer of 2013, as they smoothly transitioned into retirement. André Brunner completed his apprenticeship with roofer Ernst Kuhnen in Lenk, and after several years of gaining experience in his trade in the lowlands, he worked for 10 years in federal service. Today, the company employs up to 11 full-time and seasonal employees.
