MOUNTAIN DAIRIES AND CHEESE STUBLI
Located in the natural surroundings of the Alpine foothills, master cheesemaker Yvan Aeby and his staff enthusiastically continue the tradition of processing milk into cheese in the Weidli / Schwarzsee and Allmendli / Guggisberg mountain cheese dairies. Since summer 2015, the mountain products have been produced mainly at the Weidli farm cheese dairy in Schwarzsee. The mountain cheeses are cared for and matured in the cellars of the Allmendli / Guggisberg mountain cheese dairy.
With the utmost care, he milks his cows and produces his suppliers' mountain cheeses "Schwarzsee," "Rahmkäse vo de Ankehäx," Bergraclette, Sensler Berg-Rahmkäse, Doppelrahm, etc.
The idyllic Schwarzsee lake has retained all of its natural beauty. The Schwarzsee region is particularly well known in tourist circles. Guggisberg with the Guggershörnli is also ideal for day trips. Both areas are located in the Gantrisch Nature Park.
Majestic foothills, various sporting activities, wonderful hiking trails, the dreamy, legendary lake and the generally lovely atmosphere continue to captivate domestic and foreign tourists as well as the local population. This is perfectly summed up by the words of Gottfried Keller, who is said to have once said upon seeing this beauty: "Drink, oh eyes, what your eyelashes hold of the golden abundance of the world!"
