About us

AKS Academy & Services AG is a training center for occupational safety and health protection. Since our founding in 1997, we have continuously optimized our training offerings and adapted them to the spirit of the times. Our practice-oriented courses cover the legal framework and the requirements of various accident insurers. As an AKS customer, you benefit from our instructors' many years of experience and their skills in adult education. Successful knowledge transfer is our priority, which is why we maintain a training hall with the necessary infrastructure exclusively for our courses.

Our offerings at a glance:

• Forklift course 2 days or 4 days (forklift courses for all categories)
• Crane course category C (1 day or ½ day)
• Aerial work platform courses according to IPAF (all categories)
• First aid courses (as advertised or customized)
• Fire safety courses (as advertised or customized)
• Fall protection courses (PSAgA)
• Basic logistics course (general knowledge in the field of logistics)
• Consulting on occupational safety and health protection in your company. Hazard identification and
• planning measures for greater safety in the workplace. Coaching from A to Z on planning, implementation, and monitoring.

To ensure we can offer you the best quality and a positive experience, our premises include several modern training rooms, a break room/lounge with kitchen, sanitary facilities, and a cloakroom, a 900 m² covered and heated training area for various practical exercises, and an 800 m² outdoor area for thermal vehicles. There are plenty of parking spaces reserved for you around the building.

Occupational safety

Based on a defined mandate, we develop a customized risk assessment for your company and draw up recommendations for measures based on safety rules and known instructions.

Core tasks:

• Risk assessment of the specified areas/departments or processes
• Recommendations for measures based on the identified hazards
• Coordination of responsibilities and interfaces for occupational safety and health protection processes
• Recommendations for safety standards and rules
• Accompanying coaching (involvement of SIBE for sustainable and periodic monitoring)
• Documentation of hazard identification and action planning, final report.

 

Procedure:

Requirements are determined during the initial consultation. The following steps are normally planned:

• Initial consultation: Definition of the mandate and process planning. Initial inspection of the affected department/area.
• Creation of a hazard portfolio (classification of hazards)
• Planning of measures, recommendations for measures
• Discussion of hazard identification and action planning with those responsible
• Creation and recommendation of an implementation plan
• Report to the client

Duration and costs:

The duration and costs of a mandate depend on the size of the company and the complexity of the mandate. An individual quote can be provided after the initial consultation.
