Restaurant Laterne

Restaurant Laterne is located in one of the few remaining stone houses in Aarau, a late Gothic pent-roof house situated directly on the open city brook in Rathausgasse. The establishment combines historical heritage with cozy hospitality. The kitchen focuses on seasonal, preferably local ingredients. Specialties include the house fondue available year-round (served continuously), the 'Brutzli Filet' of Black Angus beef on a hot stone, and fresh market fish ('Catch of the Day').
