Description & Special Features

How well you feel depends greatly on your visual comfort and the health of your eyes. The goal of our eye examination is to promote both and maintain them in the long term.

Our philosophy is to provide you with preventive and comprehensive care. Our comprehensive eye examination is much more than a normal prescription for eyeglasses. It also includes health screening measurements and testing of all important visual functions. If we detect any abnormalities, we will of course refer you to an ophthalmologist immediately. We provide this service with the utmost care and ongoing training. You will only be examined by highly trained specialists with many years of experience.

The examination includes:

– Medical history
– Preliminary measurement
– Eye pressure measurement
– Vision test
– Examination of the back of the eye

We recommend having this examination performed every 2-3 years. Please make an appointment with us.

Flying blind? That won't happen to you with us
Would you like to get your driver's license or do you need to convert a foreign driver's license? You can do all of this with us.

Procedure:

1. Print out the cantonal form or pick one up at your local municipality (see links below)
2. Bring official identification (ID card, driver's license, passport)
3. If applicable: bring your glasses or contact lenses
4. Come to our office without an appointment

The appointment takes approx. 10 minutes and costs CHF 15 for the moped test and CHF 20 for all other categories .

Glasses service
Are your glasses crooked or in need of a spa day? We always offer a free service for your glasses. Our service includes:

– Ultrasonic cleaning
– Changing nose pads
– Tightening all screws
– Adjusting your glasses and readjusting them to your head
– Repolishing plastic glasses as needed
– Oil horn-rimmed glasses

Repairs
We are happy to take on even the most hopeless cases in our workshop. Whether it's soldering, filling, filing, grinding, or polishing, we do everything we can to ensure that you can wear your beloved glasses again. If this is no longer possible, we will do our utmost to find another solution with you, such as reworking them into a different frame.

Are you or your relatives unable to walk well or unable to leave your home for any reason? No problem, we will be happy to come to you. We can offer the following services at your location:

– Eye tests
– Adjustment and fitting of glasses
– Eyeglass consultation and sales

Thanks to our close cooperation with retirement homes and ophthalmologists in the region, all administrative procedures can also be handled without any problems. We take care of everything!
