Cossi A. + G. Sagl

Attilio Cossi Senior (born in 1897), a resident of Malcantone, traveled to Lugano every day to work as a painter.

In 1932, with courage and enthusiasm, he moved to join his brother, who was employed by the police in Ascona, and founded the current painting company.

His intuition allowed him to seize the right moment to start the business in Ascona, which at that time was becoming a tourist hub and a place of development for various companies.

1957 Second Generation

The future of the company was secured by the second generation when his son Attilio Cossi Junior (born in 1939), after completing his apprenticeship, joined his father and took over the business in 1957.

Attilio Cossi Junior obtained his Federal Diploma as Master Painter in 1962.

The favorable period, commitment, seriousness, and professionalism allowed the company to evolve significantly, guaranteeing its customers a high-quality service.

Since 1983, the third generation

The third generation is represented by Giorgio Cossi (born in 1963), son of Attilio Junior, who joined his father and changed the company name to Cossi A. + G. Sagl.

In 1989, Giorgio Cossi obtained the Federal Diploma of Master Painter.

Since 2014, the fourth generation

The fourth generation ensures the continuity of the company when young Davide Cossi (born in 1998) began his apprenticeship at the family business in 2014 and won the Luigi Brentani special prize for the best final exam in Ticino.

In 2020, Davide obtained his Master Painter's Diploma.

On April 23, 2024, he obtained his Federal Master's Diploma.
