About the company's history:
In 1919, Paul Freuler purchased the locksmith's shop from a community of heirs. He ran it as a mechanical locksmith's shop until 1945, when his son Paul took over the management of the company. The mechanical locksmith's shop became a metalworking and iron construction business. For health reasons, he handed over the company to his son Paul in 1974, the third generation of the family to run it. In 1998, the sole proprietorship was converted into a public limited company. Paul Freuler died unexpectedly in November 1998. As his son chose a different career path, the company is now run by his wife Dagmar Freuler and two long-standing employees. Apprentices have been successfully trained for decades.
