Technical development

Over the years, Felix Meier Schutzgas has increasingly specialized in laser welding, which now accounts for around 80% of its order volume, moving away from classic TIG/WIG welding processes. Felix Meier has co-developed various laser technologies, making them unique in the market. State-of-the-art 5-axis systems can be used to weld workpieces ranging in size from needle-sized to 200 kg with an accuracy of up to 1/100 mm, depending on requirements.
