Founded in 1946, OBA AG has developed over more than sixty years of activity from a pure manufacturer of mattresses and upholstered furniture to a competent and reliable partner in the hospital supplies sector. With over 30 employees, we have made a name for ourselves in Switzerland, particularly in the field of pressure ulcer prevention and therapy.

For over twenty years, we have been known and valued by experts as a leading manufacturer of anti-decubitus mattresses. Our products are developed and clinically tested in collaboration with the Geriatric University Clinic in Basel. Production in Basel is customized and predominantly handmade. This makes us an extremely flexible partner, both for one-off productions or tight delivery deadlines, as well as for large orders and complex furnishing projects.

Our upholstery workshop specializes in classic reupholstering and repair of antique seating furniture and also masters industrial upholstery for large projects.

We attach great importance to the careful workmanship of our products, which meet the highest quality standards. OBA is certified according to EN ISO 9001. Together with our partners, we are also present in the rest of Europe, Asia, and the USA.
