For over 100 years, Nyfeler AG has stood for quality, innovation, and reliability in metal construction. In 1922, Otto Nyfeler Senior founded a locksmith's workshop in Basel, which quickly earned an excellent reputation in the region for its precise craftsmanship and durable products.

In the 1950s, Nyfeler was one of the pioneers of glass and metal facade construction in Switzerland. Major projects such as the Domus building in Basel, the Nestlé administration building in Vevey, and the Swiss embassy in New Delhi underscore the company's pioneering role.

With increasing demand and technical developments, Nyfeler AG—then the largest metal construction company in the canton of Basel-Stadt —diversified into cable support systems, telephone booths, and distribution systems in the field of electrical and telecommunications engineering.

In 2013, the metal window and facade construction division was sold. Today, the company focuses on a highly diversified range of services with the following areas of expertise:

Today, Nyfeler AG is owned by the two grandsons of the company's founder:
Werner Schmid, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Hans Peter Meier, owner of Meier Maler AG, Basel.
