My work philosophy is always guided by the basic principle of minimal and soft intervention. A work of art should never be subjected to more treatment than it requires. Minimal intervention means achieving the longest possible preservation success for a work of art with the least invasive means.

All conservation and restoration measures are carried out according to modern standards and the best available knowledge, following a thorough art-technological examination, with particular attention paid to the durability and reversibility of the materials used.

I am committed to the code of ethics of ICOMOS, ICOM, NIKE, the Venice Charter, and the Swiss Association for Conservation and Restoration SKR under the leadership of the international ECCO.
