Born in 1968

Trained as a carpenter (furniture and interior design) from 1985 to 1989 in the training workshops of the city of Bern, since then working as a cabinetmaker and restorer.

Self-employed since 1998, initially as a subtenant, later together with Andres Huber's workshop for antique furniture/belt carpentry.

Since September 2000, our workshop has been located on the site of the Gurten brewery, which closed in 1997. A lot has been happening here for years. The brewery site has been redesigned and given a new look with a new building containing 100 apartments.

I am a carpenter and furniture restorer. In my workshop, I create new furniture according to your wishes and restore your antique pieces to their former glory.

A second mainstay is the restoration of old and antique furniture. Mending, sanding, replacing, supplementing, making usable, plastering, cutting to size, planing, screwing, nailing, polishing, matting, soaping, oiling, brushing...

The carpentry workshop is located on the Gurtenbrauerei site, to the right of the Gurtenbahn valley station in Wabern near Bern.
