With dying and death, earthly life comes to an inevitable end. Let us try not to view death simply as the end, but as a natural part of life. We face this mystery with respectful silence.
We see our work at the crematorium as a service to society, handling this inevitable event with dignity and thus contributing to the grieving process of the bereaved. My team and I face the daily challenges and support the bereaved and the undertakers. We operate the crematorium and provide all related services.
The Bernese Cooperative for Cremation (bgf) is the owner and operator of the crematorium. It was founded in 1888. Its first crematorium was built in 1907/08. The new building that houses today's crematorium was completed in 1994.
My team and I are committed to working in an extremely sensitive and demanding field every day. On behalf of all our employees, I would like to thank you for the trust you have placed in us.
