physio5 | Fischermätteli

physio5 was founded in April 2003. Through years of working with our patients and thanks to our collaboration with many doctors and specialists, a therapy network has developed over the past few years.

From the very beginning, our philosophy has been to offer patients a comprehensive range of therapies in one place. Encouraged by the high demand, we did not hesitate in mid-2006 when we were offered the opportunity to double our space at our Fischermätteli location. This renovation allowed us to significantly expand the physiotherapy area and the existing fitness facilities. This also marked the birth of fitness5, a small but excellent "medical fitness" center with around 500 members.

In an effort to save patients long journeys, additional physio5 branches were opened in the Wankdorf Stadium in 2008 and in Monbijou in 2012.

In order to meet the needs of an ever-growing number of patients with back problems, we opened our back diagnostics center in January 2013, where we can use six computer-controlled diagnostic devices to precisely locate and treat the causes of the problems, from the lumbar to the cervical vertebrae.

When the entire first floor at the Fischermätteli location became available in the winter of 2019, we didn't hesitate for long and rented the additional 650 m² to provide significantly more space for massage, Pilates, and back diagnostics. In addition, a large dining, recreation, and training room was created.

In the summer of 2020, the Worb family doctor's practice approached us with the request to set up a physiotherapy service on their premises. We were very happy to comply with this request and are delighted to have a branch in beautiful Worb, just outside Bern.

However, we still adhere to the same principles of comprehensive and responsible care as we did when we were founded in 2003.
