Regular exercise is particularly important in old age to prevent premature weakening of the body. By promoting strength, flexibility, and endurance, as well as through balance exercises, physical well-being, safety, and self-confidence are increased, enabling you to remain independent and fit even in old age. Our bodies adapt to our activities. That is why exercise is the best protection against falls and osteoporosis in everyday life. Regular training improves flexibility and elasticity in all joints.
In addition, group activities promote social contact and mental alertness.
Metabolic training for men over 40
Men over 40 tend to gain weight, especially around the abdomen. Lack of exercise and poor nutrition further contribute to this.
With our program, we aim to increase participants' basal metabolic rate through:
- Endurance training: primarily in the fat-burning zone
- Strength training: more muscle mass increases the basal metabolic rate
- Mobility and coordination training: facilitates physical activity
In addition, we want to promote enthusiasm and enjoyment of exercise in a group of like-minded people.
Nordic walking has become a very popular sport and is suitable for everyone, whether young or old, athletic or unathletic.
Nordic walking offers a full-body fitness workout outdoors, in any season. You exercise in the great outdoors and on any terrain, train your body awareness, and experience fun and dynamism in a group.
Nordic walking is suitable for anyone looking for an endurance or recreational sport to counteract the stress of work and everyday life, who wants to take measures to prevent illness, but also for those who need a therapeutic tool for rehabilitation.
Nordic walking is very gentle on the joints and gives participants enough time to concentrate on their own bodies.
This training is aimed at anyone who wants to exercise in a particularly gentle way.
We use various aids to promote mobility as well as strength and endurance in a way that is gentle on the joints. Activity in the water offers additional opportunities for comprehensive rehabilitation, e.g., after sports injuries, for chronic back pain, hip osteoarthritis, shoulder problems, obesity, etc.
The properties of water offer the following advantages: buoyancy relieves the musculoskeletal system, creates a feeling of weightlessness, and generally reduces various complaints. Water resistance is created in response to a person's movements in the water, which stimulates blood circulation. The faster the movement in the water, the greater the water resistance. This means that we cannot move as quickly as we can on land. Water pressure improves blood flow back to the heart, leads to deeper breathing, strengthens the respiratory muscles, and activates the lymphatic system. The water temperature of 28°C increases energy consumption and stimulates the metabolism through heat production, which improves mobility and strengthens the immune system.
"Intelligent power for the muscles"
– we think in chains, not in muscles
Targeted training for sports, leisure, everyday life, and work
Functional training serves as the basis for both everyday movements and popular and elite sports. The focus is on the core. Mobility, balance, and stabilization are improved, and self-awareness of the tendons and joints is trained. Functional movement sequences are trained and isolated muscles are strengthened. This gets you fit for training, everyday life, and competition. The risk of injury is minimized and performance can be increased.
After a joint warm-up, a course is completed in which your own body weight is used, but also various training equipment such as TRX, Sypoba, trampoline, barbells, etc. Finally, there is a cool-down, with a focus on fascia techniques using the Blackroll.
Functional training takes place in a group, but we will show you how you can adjust the intensity of the course to suit your individual needs.
When the weather is nice, training takes place outside.
Treat your back to some exercise. Monotonous movements and long periods of sitting without adequate compensation are the causes of many back problems. Targeted dynamic training can work wonders here! With musical accompaniment and steps from aerobics, as well as various exercises that strengthen not only the back but the whole body, we create a holistic training program. However, the focus is on the joy of movement. The aim is to increase body awareness and movement, thereby improving strength, flexibility, and coordination. Become more efficient at work, improve your concentration, say goodbye to back tension, and increase your zest for life!
