Villa Maria

Villa Maria is a beautiful Art Nouveau house in a central, quiet location. It was built in 1904 and has been run as a guesthouse by us, the Oblate Sisters of St. Francis de Sales, since 1925. At Villa Maria, young women and adult women of different religions, nationalities, and languages find a temporary home in the heart of Bern.

Information

On three floors, now with an elevator, you will find spacious, bright, and pleasantly furnished single and double rooms. Toilets and showers are now located on each floor. Internet access is available in all rooms. A washing machine and dryer are available. The common rooms are bright and spacious. In our chapel, you have the opportunity to retreat in silence or join the sisters in prayer.
