Diggelmann + Partner AG is an independent engineering firm in Bern that has been personally managed by its owners for over 25 years. Our core competencies lie in structural engineering and civil engineering. Our firm's services include studies, project planning, implementation, and maintenance projects. We also support our clients with expertise and consulting mandates.
Our engineering firm was founded in 1929 as a Bern branch by the famous bridge builder Robert Maillart. This makes us proud, and Maillart's drive for innovation, his creativity, and his way of thinking continue to inspire and motivate us to this day. The optimization of what were then new construction methods in terms of economy and aesthetics that Maillart achieved with his projects is impressive.
Today, technology, society, and the environment must be taken into account in equal measure, as available space is becoming increasingly limited and constraints are leaving less and less room for maneuver. We are happy to take on this challenge, think comprehensively, and get to the root of the problems. Where proven standard solutions are available, we apply them as appropriate to the situation. However, if this does not achieve a satisfactory result, we do not shy away from exploring and pursuing innovative approaches.
Our potential lies in our 28 employees, half of whom are qualified engineers. We secure the next generation with apprentices, interns, and young professionals. To ensure continuity within our office, a generational change is on the horizon in the coming years.
