Company history

Carpentry has been practiced at our location since 1905. Walter Frei was the first to open a carpentry workshop here. After his retirement, the company was taken over by Hans Boppart. Then, around 1953, the business was continued by Rudolf Schweizer.

On January 1, 1980, the business was transferred to Ernst Gerber. Ernst Gerber, who had already worked in the carpentry workshop, continued to expand the business. On average, seven people work for the Gerber carpentry workshop.

After 20 years of professional experience as a carpenter in the areas of production, assembly, and work preparation in various carpentry businesses, as well as various further training courses, Adrian Gerber took over the management of the company from his father on January 1, 2015. The new company name is "Schreiner Gerber" and a new, modern logo has been introduced.
