Presentation
Dr. Jorge Ferrara completed his studies in family medicine in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1983. He then continued his training as a homeopathic doctor at the Thomas Pablo Pasquero School of Homeopathic Medicine in Argentina and at the Academy of Homeopathic Medicine in Barcelona. Passionate about human beings and their biopsychosocial issues, he furthered his training in Jungian psychodynamic psychotherapy and Gestalt therapy in Argentina and Spain.
In 2013, Dr. Ferrara arrived in Switzerland, where he had the opportunity to work at the CHUV with prestigious colleagues. As a result, he has extensive experience in the field of psychopathology, both in the private sector and in hospitals.
Finally, since 2018, he has been working in his private practice in collaboration with excellent health professionals, particularly in the fields of psychotherapy, psychiatry, unicist homeopathy, and integrative body therapies.
--- Unicist homeopathy ---
It is well known to many of us that homeopathy aims to cure disease "by the same substance." The morbid dynamic can come from within the patient or from outside, and diagnosis in this regard becomes essential to implementing effective treatment.
From this starting point, we want to emphasize that our understanding of the human being is that of a human being integrated into a particular becoming, with his or her family, social, and historical environment.
In addition, each patient has their "vital correspondence in nature": by this we mean that unicist homeopathy finds a unique and personal remedy for each of us that will help to treat (and also prevent) both the visible symptoms manifested in our physical body and the symptoms that are not perceptible at first glance, but which shape the intimate reality of each human being.
--- Psychotherapy and Psychology ---
Dr. Ferrara practices integrated psychotherapy. This discipline is used to help all people suffering from mental illness or emotional disorders that develop in a particular environment.
His interest lies in developing a holistic view of the human being in body, mind, and soul. This leads him to practice: Humanistic and dynamic psychotherapy, relaxation techniques and the Alpha Method of Mental Dynamics, the Approach to Human Temperaments according to Blood Types, and associated music therapy, among others.
Dr. Ferrara's practice is delighted to be working with psychologist Pia Nuñez. She sees new patients every Wednesday afternoon and all day Friday. Pia Nunez Psychologist | psychologist | Bulle, Switzerland
