About us

La Physio de La Comba opened its doors in 2002 in Riaz, on Rue de La Comba, from which it takes its name. In 2005, the practice moved to new premises at Impasse des Terreaux 4, still in Riaz. In 2020, we expanded our services with a new location in La Roche (Rte de Fribourg 50). With a total of six treatment rooms and a full medical fitness center at each location, we have become a leader in physiotherapy in the region.

Physiotherapy refers to the World Health Organization (WHO) definition of health as a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. It is also a front-line health discipline involved in prevention and health promotion. Its role is to enable patients to regain their maximum physical abilities so that they can once again perform everyday tasks, do their job, or participate in sports or leisure activities.
