General/pediatric/pre-orthodontic osteopathy

Pediatric osteopathy:

• Preventive assessment of newborns immediately after birth
• Prevention - assessment and monitoring of cranial asymmetries, flat spots, and plagiocephaly

• Preventive pre-orthodontic assessment and correction of poor orofacial habits (mouth breathing and atypical swallowing) to allow for better facial development and dental alignment in growing children. Osteopathic and myofunctional orthodontic treatment and follow-up.

Additional presentation of osteopathy in an aquatic environment

Treatment in warm water offers many benefits to the patient:

. Partial elimination of gravity and the patient's own points of support

. Use of the analgesic and circulatory properties of warm water (+/- 35 degrees)

. An environment that promotes overall relaxation and letting go

Osteopathy in an aquatic environment offers interesting prospects for patients living with chronic and acute pain, post-operative recovery, discomfort during pregnancy, muscle tension, and stress.

For the practitioner, working in water allows for better observation of the movements, reactions, and adaptive positions of the patient as they float in the water.

In aquatic practice, the practitioner becomes a "fixed point" and the patient, floating without any points of support, balances themselves in the practitioner's hands.

The aim of this treatment is to enable the patient to reconnect with their points of support and with themselves.

Passive movements in the water facilitate letting go, body awareness, and a state of deep relaxation.
