The Geneva Dance Center, directed by Samantha and Julien Allen Bancillon since 2009, was founded in 1980 by Claudine and David Allen. It is a classical dance school, which includes a section reserved for anyone who wants to dance without pursuing a career, as well as a professional training section.
The school has trained many young people who are now dancing in the world's leading companies. The school's priority is the teaching of classical ballet.

The Geneva Dance Center has three studios, including one measuring 200 m² and another measuring 100 m², equipped with floating floors covered with special linoleum suitable for ballet, and a 45 m² Pilates studio. Changing rooms and showers are available for students, and there is a parking lot directly accessible from the school. There is a shopping center and cafeteria on the ground floor.

These classes are open to everyone aged 4 and above. The only requirement is a love of dance.
Professional training 1 and 2
Auditions throughout the year
For Professional Training, Monday through Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
For Pre-Professional Training, every Wednesday at 3:00 p.m.
The ballet company "lejeuneballet.ch" is made up of student dancers from the Professional Training classes.
Admission to these classes and to "lejeuneballet.ch" is subject to an audition, in the form of a class, which will determine the child's potential. Students, aged 11 to 18, have 12 to 35 hours of classes per week depending on their level and school curriculum.
In addition to classical ballet, which is the priority, with the learning and perfecting of classical technique, the program includes pointe classes, pas de deux and variations, contemporary dance classes, and Pilates.
Each year, the school offers partial or full scholarships to gifted students. The school is a member of the Swiss Federation of Dance Schools (FSED).
