Occupational therapy is a discipline that comes into play when a person (child, adult, or elderly) experiences difficulties in performing certain activities for a variety of reasons. For children, these difficulties may include psychomotor or learning difficulties, while for adolescents they may include difficulties in social participation. In adults, difficulties caused by trauma in carrying out their professional activities can be identified, while in the elderly, weaknesses in maintaining the ability to pursue lifelong hobbies can be identified. ABC Occupational Therapy is based on evidence-based approaches that focus on the individual, the family, and the community (school, workplace, and leisure activities). We actively collaborate with the person's support network (family, doctors, teachers, physical therapists, psychologists, etc.) to achieve treatment goals. The goal of the profession is to enable people to participate in daily activities. Therapies are reimbursed by social insurance with a medical certificate.
