Distillerie Schneider Sàrl

The oldest and most authentic distillery in the region, Schneider Distillery welcomes you with open arms to share its love of local products. Located in Cornol, Schneider Distillery will delight lovers of artisanal spirits.

Founded almost a century ago, the distillery was taken over in 2005 by Frédéric and Raluca Schneider, who have been working there ever since with passion and expertise. In addition to making their own specialties, Frédéric and Raluca also distill custom products for their loyal customers.

By appointment, visit the distillery, watch the production process, and taste the various specialties of brandies, liqueurs, and honeys, which you can then purchase on site in the traditional shop.

Tour
Distillery tour (minimum 6 people)
1. Brandy tasting and distillery tour (10.- / person)
2. Aperitif with local products, including 1 glass of wine and water (21.- / person for the aperitif + 9.- for the tour)

The Orchards
During one of your walks in the region, especially in spring, a visit and tasting are a must. You can stroll through the Paplemont orchards, located a few minutes from the distillery. You will be enchanted by the beauty and poetry of the place...

The shop
A welcoming shop, located within the distillery, offers all of the company's much-loved products, which Raluca packages and arranges with refinement in elegant baskets and gift boxes. A true tradition of the company and, for you, the assurance of giving pleasure. Whether you come to pick them up or have them delivered, they will always be ready on time.

Damassine, an iconic product of the Jura
Damassine brandy was awarded the "Damassine" AOC in spring 2010 following a decision by the Federal Court. Frédéric Schneider was at the forefront of the campaign as a member of the Damassine Interprofessional Committee.
A true ambassador for the Jura, and in particular for the Ajoie region, Damassine is the third brandy to obtain an AOC, after Abricotine and Valais pear brandy.

Damassine AOC and red damasson or Damascus plum
A clause in the AOC dossier stipulates that the fruit of the damask plum tree will now be called "red damasson" or "Damascus plum," while the name "Damassine" will be reserved for the brandy.

2013 medals
Once again this year, our eaux-de-vie received medals at the Swiss Market Competition for Local Products.
Two gold medals for prune and fir bud brandies, two bronze medals, and two nominations for the prize of excellence.
