Domaine de la Recorbe Heiniger Jean-Daniel

The 3.5-hectare vineyard is located in two municipalities, Eysins and Coinsins, in the heart of the Côte region in the canton of Vaud. Around ten grape varieties are grown here. Each plot is unique and the winegrower must make the most of it, taking into account the topology of the soil, the exposure, the age of the vines, etc.

The climate of the Lake Geneva basin and the soils help to produce fruity and often powerful wines with a beautiful mineral integrity.

The vines are grassed and the rows are weeded mechanically, avoiding the use of chemical weedkillers. The roots of the vines thus seek their resources deeper in the soil, establishing themselves and becoming less sensitive to climatic hazards and more resilient.

The vines are protected with inputs authorized in organic farming. Harvesting is done entirely by hand in order to preserve the quality of the grapes.

The small size of the estate allows for patience. Harvesting only begins when we consider the grapes to be ready. Respecting the ripeness of the grapes is essential to producing quality wines.

The red wines have character and seduce with their elegance. The white wines are fruity, with an emphasis on freshness and vitality.
