acupuncture
Acupuncture is the best-known Chinese medicine therapy method in our country. All organs in the body are connected to each other by energy channels (meridians). These invisible channels run from the inside of the body to the surface and form a coherent network. The acupuncture points on the channels are stimulated by inserting fine metal needles. This specifically alters the flow of energy, or qi. After the barely noticeable prick through the skin, reaching the energy of the acupuncture point feels like a slight pressure, a pulling sensation that is difficult to describe, or a feeling of warmth.
Acupuncture promotes local blood circulation, generally strengthens the immune system, and relieves pain. Above all, however, it supports self-healing.
In my practice, I usually use ear acupuncture in combination with body acupuncture, one of several effective reflex and microsystems. In addition to the fine ear needles, small balls, vaccaria seeds, or tiny permanent needles can be attached to the ear with a small plaster. This prolongs the effect, as the ear points are activated over a longer period of time.
